Excellent Ultrabook on a Budget The Lenovo U410 is great and the Sapphire Blue just looks so good! This has by far has exceeded my expectations in every way. It has all the ports you would need (USB 2.0 * 2, USB 3.0 * 2, Ethernet, SD Card, HDMI Out, Headphone/Microphone Combo Jack), all in a VERY slim design. It’s a very nice quality aluminum build, excellent screen with very good viewing angles, excellent battery life and a generous sized track pad. When using this, it stays cool even when using resource extensive applications on it, and it hasn’t gotten hot whatsoever when I use it on my lap when I am wearing shorts. The track pad is very responsive and it’s all one piece. I haven’t had any problems with using Windows 8 gestures on it nor scrolling or zooming problems. No lags between applications at all, and the SSD really helps make it boot very quickly; usually under ten seconds. The screen is great. Just a note that it’s not a touchscreen. The battery life on this is amazing, I…

Lightweight and Fast This is exactly what I was looking for in a laptop; lightweight, fast, good battery life and plenty of outputs (2x 2.0 USB, 2x 3.0 USB, HDMI ….)The keyboard has been a little tough to get used to but I do appreciate all of the function keys including volume, screen minimizing and instant disabling of the touchpad.I hate touchpads in general and disabled most of the functions on mine. Also updated all of the drivers through Lenovo, not Microsoft, as soon as I got it so I haven’t had wireless or touchpad problems. The major problems I have stem from my extreme hatred of Windows 8. I’ve customized things a lot to try and make it more usable but I still have daily problems. I also had to remove a heck of a lot of bloatware when I first got things running. Come on Microsoft, if I wanted to only use apps I’d sit on my phone all day. However, this has nothing to do with the actual computer which is why I gave it 4 stars. If this was a Windows 8 review it…
