Previous reviewers must not be real developers. All of the reviewers who are complaining about the screenshot size, that is why you can download every example project from the website. Why would you try to do the examples without having taken the time to download them first? As for the actual contents of this book, the examples are great. They show truly useful things you would want to do and explain how they would be used in the real world. If you are a technophobe then this book is not for you, but if you are willing to take the literally 2 seconds per example to pull down the code to follow along or copy and paste then this book will definitely help your progress in the iOS realm.

One of the better books I got the Kindle edition and it was worth every cent.I have been paging through at least 15 books on iPhone development in the last couple weeks. This book is definitely one of the better ones because it “gets down to business” and the visuals are great. Other books are, for the most part, overwhelming with the way they present information. This book, in contrast, was activating — you see it and you want to do it.

“Who This Book Is For”. This is the title of the very first section inside the book. The book states “This book is for advanced computer users who want to take their knowledge of this particular technology… to the next level.”If you already have some familiarity with Xcode and Objective-C, this is an outstanding book. It accomplishes exactly what the cover claims – “Read less – learn more.” I’ve used books in the same series and they can do more to help you extend your knowledge than any other style of book.Typically, when you are trying to make something, you work until you hit an obstacle. How can I do what I want? The table of contents and index in this book let you find what you need quickly, and usually the solution is presented in two very clear, very succinct pages. Perfect!I note in passing that the Kindle edition of the book is very well done. The illustrations can be expanded for easy reading, and the sections link directly to the code…
